A mix of housing and industrial areas means a mix of calls. We treat bed bugs in Colwick homes and work with local businesses too.
Colwick has housing alongside industrial areas, with Nottingham Racecourse and Colwick Park nearby. Events bring visitors, and some businesses provide rooms for staff or contractors. Bed bugs are carried in by people, not by location, so any place with changing occupants has some risk. Homes are affected the same way, through luggage, visiting relatives and secondhand beds.
For homes, we inspect the bed and furniture and treat where we find activity. For businesses with staff accommodation or short stays, our commercial division offers free surveys and a free written inspection report. We make no call-out charge, and you get clear advice on what to wash, bag and leave in place before we treat.
Our commercial division carries out free surveys and gives a free written inspection report. Tell us what the premises are used for and how many rooms are involved.
They mostly stay near beds but can hide in sofas, chairs and wall gaps nearby. We check the whole room, not only the mattress.
No. Bed bugs are picked up from travel, second-hand furniture and visitors, and can appear in clean homes and hotels.
