Bramcote's hillside suburb is made up of detached and semi-detached houses, many with sizeable gardens and mature planting. Squirrels use the trees and roofs as a highway, wasps settle in quiet corners of lofts and garages, and rats are drawn by compost or poultry feed at the bottom of a long garden.
