Open land near the house does not matter to bed bugs, which come in on belongings. We inspect Dorket Head homes and treat the beds affected.
Dorket Head is a hillside area above Arnold, with suburban housing and open land close by. Whatever the view from the window, bed bugs are an indoor pest that reaches homes on luggage, clothes and secondhand furniture. They then stay near beds, where people sleep. A householder who has never seen a live insect may still have a small population, so look for marks on mattress seams.
We begin with questions about when the bites started and what has come in lately, then inspect carefully. Treatment focuses on the bed and nearby areas, and we explain the preparation clearly. We are fully insured and our staff are CRB checked, so you can leave the work to us with confidence.
Not necessarily, but one bug is worth taking seriously, as there may be more hiding nearby. Keep it in a sealed bag and call us so we can identify it.
Yes, bags and bedding from any stay can carry them. Unpack outside the bedroom, wash what you can, and check the seams of sleeping bags and cases.
No. Bed bugs are picked up from travel, second-hand furniture and visitors, and can appear in clean homes and hotels.
