Colwick's mix of housing, industrial units and park land gives squirrels cover and shelter. We survey homes and premises, treat and advise on proofing.
Colwick sits east of the city in Gedling borough, with the racecourse, Colwick Park and the River Trent nearby, and housing mixed with industrial areas. Park land and riverside trees provide cover for squirrels, and both houses and units can provide shelter. A warehouse or unit with a high roof space can be as attractive as a loft, and the damage to cabling or insulation can be costly if it goes unnoticed.
For homes we survey the loft and roof edges, then carry out treatment lawfully. For businesses, our commercial division provides free surveys and a free written inspection report. In both cases you get fixed prices, no call-out charge and advice on proofing. Visits can be arranged to suit you, including same day appointments where possible.
Yes. Our commercial division provides free surveys and a free written inspection report, which helps with records for managers and landlords. We explain what we find in plain terms before any work is agreed. Photographs of any damage taken before we arrive can help.
It can, because trees and cover bring more squirrels close to buildings. Whether they enter depends on the roof condition, so repairs to weak points are the key preventative step.
Yes. They can chew timber, insulation and cables, and cable damage can be a fire risk.
