Homes and commercial units around Colwick see ants from riverside ground and park edges. We trace the trail and treat the nest.
Colwick mixes housing and industrial areas close to the River Trent, with parkland and the racecourse nearby. Ants nest in warm, well-drained ground, and the edges of car parks, yards and warehouses give them just that. In a unit, they are drawn to staff kitchens, vending areas and waste bins, and trails can run along loading bays.
For commercial customers, our commercial division offers free surveys with a free written inspection report, covering where the trail enters and what feeds it. For homes, we trace the line across the garden. Either way, we treat the nest or the route and give guidance on storage and waste, with fixed cost pricing.
Yes. Our commercial division carries out free surveys with a free written inspection report, which can support your own records. We explain what to expect when we assess it. Results depend on the conditions around the property, so we avoid promising anything we cannot know in advance.
Warmth, shelter, waste and staff food. Gaps in doors and slabs give a way in. Treating the nest and tidying food storage reduces the problem.
Ants follow trails to food, so crumbs, spills and open food can attract them.
