A riverside village is no protection from bed bugs, which arrive in luggage and furniture. We come to Stoke Bardolph to inspect and treat them.
Stoke Bardolph is a small village by the Trent, with farmland and riverside land around it. People sometimes think fields or water are linked to bed bugs, but they are not. The insects feed on blood at night and hide near beds, so the real question is what came into the house. A visiting friend, a suitcase or a bed from a sale are the usual answers.
In a small village, a home may be some distance from the next, so bed bugs are less likely to move between houses than in a terrace. That makes treatment of the single property very effective in principle, though results depend on how widely they have spread. We are BPCA members, and we are fully insured.
