Between Colwick Park, the racecourse and the Trent, housing and industrial land sit side by side. We treat wasp nests in Colwick for a fixed £90.
Colwick lies east of the city, home to Nottingham Racecourse and Colwick Park, with housing and industrial areas close to the River Trent. The mix of green space, water and buildings makes for plenty of insects and plenty of shelter. Wasps nest in houses and in the roof edges and pallets of industrial units. For a business, an active nest near a loading door is a real nuisance for staff and visitors.
We deal with nests at homes and commercial premises for a fixed £90, aiming to visit the same day. Tell us if your site has multiple buildings or a yard, and where the wasps are most active. Stacked pallets, skips and waste areas can attract wasps in late summer, so keep lids closed. Site managers should also tell contractors where wasps have been seen.
Yes, we deal with domestic and commercial premises. Tell us the layout, who is on site and where the nest is. The technician will plan a safe visit. We will talk through access with whoever manages the site and arrange a time that suits operations.
Not necessarily. Wasps need shelter and food more than water. Green spaces with hedges and banks give queens places to nest, so properties beside parks may see more activity. Edges of parks and riverbanks have hedges and rough ground, which offer cover that wasps readily use.
A wasp nest treatment is a fixed cost of £90. There is no call-out charge.
