On the hillside above Arnold, suburban gardens run into open land and queens settle in the hedges. We treat Dorket Head wasp nests for a fixed £90.
Dorket Head is a hillside area above Arnold, with suburban housing and open land close by. Gardens at the top of a slope often back onto hedges or rough ground, and that attracts spring queens looking for hollows. On a warm day the wasps return to a nest by the same route, so a few minutes of watching from a window will show you roughly where the entrance is. Report that, and the search is much shorter.
The treatment is a fixed £90, and we visit the same day where we can. Steep or terraced gardens can make access harder, so mention steps, gradients and narrow side paths. For nests in banks and hedges, keep children and pets away from the area and avoid strimming nearby. Please phone with the nearest landmark if your house is up a steep or unmade road, as that helps us find you.
Strimming or digging near the entrance provokes the wasps. If you notice traffic into a bank, stop work, move away calmly and call us. Mark the spot with a stick from a distance, never closer, and then keep the strimmer in the shed.
Yes, though access matters. Tell us about steps, slopes and gates. The technician will plan a safe approach, and the price remains the fixed cost. Steps, steep slopes and narrow paths affect how we carry equipment, so we plan the approach beforehand.
A wasp nest treatment is a fixed cost of £90. There is no call-out charge.
