In a small riverside village surrounded by farmland, nests turn up in barns, sheds and hedges. We treat Stoke Bardolph wasp nests for a fixed £90.
Stoke Bardolph is a small village by the Trent, surrounded by farmland and riverside land. Properties here often have outbuildings, stores and old timber structures, and those suit wasps better than a busy house. A nest in a barn roof or a hollow in a riverbank hedge can become very large by August with nobody noticing. Spotting it is mostly a matter of watching the flight line on a warm afternoon.
The fixed price is £90, and if the nest is still active within 30 days we return. Rural access can be awkward, with tracks and gates, so tell us how to find you and whether the building is locked. Do not disturb the nest if it is in an animal shed, and keep animals clear until the visit. Mention any locked gates or farm tracks.
Give us clear directions, any gate codes and details of the building. We will confirm a visit. The price is the same fixed cost wherever the nest is. Tell us about any gate codes or tracks, and whether we will need to park away from the building.
Disturbed wasps can sting animals and people. Keep animals away from the building until we have treated the nest, and do not try to knock it down. Keep dogs, horses and livestock well away from the building or hedge until the nest has been treated.
A wasp nest treatment is a fixed cost of £90. There is no call-out charge.

A house by the river and fields has more wildlife on its doorstep than most. A short seasonal checklist keeps the visitors outside where they belong.
Read the advice →A dog that spends the day in fields and along the river can bring fleas through the door by evening. Most of the eggs end up in the house, not on the dog.
