On the hillside above Arnold, businesses sit beside suburban housing and open land, which brings rodents and insects close to the door.
Dorket Head has suburban housing with open land close by, and that edge-of-town setting shapes the pest picture. Rats and mice come down from fields and scrub toward buildings, particularly in autumn, while gardens and bins on the residential side provide a constant food supply. A pub or small business here has both urban and rural pressures to contend with, so a single quick treatment rarely sorts it for long.
We offer a free survey and a free written inspection report to premises on the hill, covering storage, kitchens, yards and the boundary where gardens meet open land. We then agree visits that follow the seasons, with more attention as the weather cools. Our technicians are CRB checked, and appointments are arranged to suit you. Tell us which side of the premises faces open land and we will begin there.
As it gets colder, rats and mice look for warmth and food indoors, and a site beside open land sees more of them. Arranging a survey in early autumn lets us seal entry points before activity builds.
A building with limited opening can see unnoticed activity during closed days, so we time visits to catch problems early. We agree dates with you and leave a written record each time. Tell us when you open and close.

With fields and hedges close to the back fence, mice have a short journey to a warm house. A gap the width of a pencil is all they need to get in.
