Semi-detached streets around Woodthorpe Park have lofts, sheds and garages that wasps like. We treat nests here for a fixed £90.
Woodthorpe is a north-eastern suburb of inter-war and post-war semis around Woodthorpe Park. Most nests we hear about here are in the loft, the eaves or the garden shed. Close to a park, wasps also forage widely, so seeing them in the garden does not always mean the nest is yours. The telltale sign is repeated traffic at the same spot, in the same direction, throughout the day.
We offer a same day response, seven days a week, and a fixed £90 for the treatment. On a weekend, when families are often home, we will tell you what to keep away from. Doors should stay shut between the room with wasps and the rest of the house, and food and drinks should not be left outside in warm weather.
Not necessarily. Wasps forage widely, especially in late summer. A nest is more likely if you see constant traffic to one place and the wasps keep coming from the same direction. Look at the eaves and shed roof on a warm afternoon and note where several wasps come and go.
We respond to wasp calls seven days a week. Phone as early as you can and give us the address and where you have seen the wasps. Please phone early in the day if you can, so we can plan the round and give you a time.
A wasp nest treatment is a fixed cost of £90. There is no call-out charge.
Wasp Nest Removal across Nottinghamshire · Pest control in Woodthorpe
When the evenings turn cold, the rats that have been living outside look for somewhere warmer. A semi next to a park can look very inviting indeed.
Read the advice →A cockroach in a family semi comes as a shock, and the first reaction is often embarrassment. They are far more often carried in than invited.
