From Mapperley Park villas to later suburban houses, we treat wasp nests across the hill for a fixed £90, with appointments to suit.
Mapperley sits on a hill north-east of the centre, with Victorian villas in Mapperley Park and later inter-war and post-war housing beyond. The villas have large roof spaces and old chimneys; the later houses have simpler roofs but plenty of garages and sheds. Wasps use all of them. Exposed hilltop positions can be windy, which sometimes makes the nest entrance easier to spot as wasps queue out of the lee side of a wall.
The nest is treated for a fixed £90, and we arrange a visit time that suits you. On older villas we may need roof access or a ladder, so mention any steep pitches or crowded side passages. If you see wasps indoors near a chimney breast, tell us, since unused flues are a regular route. Mention if there is a narrow passage to the back of the house, since ladders need space.
They can, because the technician needs safe access. Tell us about the height and any narrow side access. The price is still the fixed cost, and we explain beforehand if anything unusual is needed. Cost remains the fixed price, and we explain beforehand if anything unusual is needed on site.
An unused chimney is a sheltered cavity, and a queen may start a nest there. Wasps in the room near the fireplace suggest it. Keep the room closed and call us. Please keep the room shut, and do not light a fire or block the fireplace with newspaper.
A wasp nest treatment is a fixed cost of £90. There is no call-out charge.
