Large lofts and mature gardens near Wollaton Hall suit a growing colony, and leafy plots hide nests well. We treat Wollaton wasp nests for a fixed £90.
Wollaton's leafy streets, inter-war semis and larger detached houses come with sizeable lofts, outbuildings and garden trees. A big loft can host a nest for a whole season before anyone goes up there. Wasps also use hollow tree trunks, hedges and the space behind garden cladding. If you notice wasps flying a steady path across the lawn toward a single point, the nest may be in a boundary tree or building rather than the house itself.
We agree the fixed £90 before starting, and we aim to visit the same day. Owners of larger homes sometimes ask us to check the whole roof line during the visit, which is sensible when more than one entry point is suspected. Tell us if there is a long drive or locked gate, so the technician arrives prepared. A gate code or key held by a neighbour is worth mentioning early.
Wasps will use hollows in trees, thick hedges and the base of shrubs. The nest may be hidden by foliage. Tell us where the traffic goes and we will find it. Hedges are often thicker than they look, so wasps may be using a hollow right in the middle.
Only if it is calm and you can see clearly from the hatch. Never enter a loft with a busy nest. If you hear buzzing or see wasps near the hatch, shut it and call us.
A wasp nest treatment is a fixed cost of £90. There is no call-out charge.
Wasp Nest Removal across Nottinghamshire · Pest control in Wollaton
Large gardens and mature trees are lovely, but they bring wildlife closer to the house. This checklist is aimed at the roofs, sheds and gardens of leafy-suburb homes.
Read the advice →The vet treatment worked on the dog, yet the bites continued. In a carpeted semi, most of the flea population is not on the animal at all but in the house.
