On the Sneinton side of the city, Victorian terraces meet later housing. We treat wasp nests in Thorney Wood for a fixed £90.
Thorney Wood, often written Thorneywood, sits close to Sneinton and has Victorian terraces alongside later housing. The older houses tend to have wasp nests in lofts and chimney voids, while later houses more often have them in garage roofs, soffit boxes and sheds. Early in the season a nest is the size of a golf ball, easy to miss. By August it can be much larger, with wasps flying a clear path in and out of one spot.
The price is a fixed £90, agreed before work starts, and if the nest is still active within 30 days we return. Tell us whether the entrance is high on the wall, inside a loft or near ground level, and which direction the wasps travel. That detail helps the technician find the nest faster and saves time on the day.
Watch for a few minutes from a safe distance and note the spot they enter. Say whether it is high or low and which side of the house. Photos taken from a distance also help.
Waiting leaves you with risk through summer and early autumn, and wasps may enter the home. The colony does die in winter, but that is a long wait. We would suggest treating it sooner. Winter ends the colony, but until then the nest stays active, and wasps may still find their way indoors.
A wasp nest treatment is a fixed cost of £90. There is no call-out charge.

Before you buy any product, find out which insect you have. The shed skins in the bottom of a drawer say far more than the holes in the jumper.
