Leafy surroundings and the deer park nearby mean wildlife-rich edges around local hospitality businesses, shops and offices.
Wollaton Hall and its deer park give the suburb plenty of green space, and businesses nearby sit among mature trees, large gardens and open ground. That is lovely for customers, but it also means squirrels, rodents and insects have good cover not far from the door. A pub kitchen, cafe or office with a loft or outbuilding may find that activity from outside works its way in as the weather turns.
We offer a free survey and give a free written inspection report, covering roof spaces, outbuildings, kitchens and bin areas. Then we agree visits that suit hospitality hours or office days. You will know what is being checked each time. Our technicians are fully insured for working in sensitive premises. If the estate or building has several occupiers, we can split the report by area so each can see its own section.
Grey squirrels nest in lofts and chew cables, which can be a real concern in an office or pub. We survey the roof space and advise on what is needed to deal with them and keep them out.
Rats and mice move indoors as it gets colder, so autumn is when many businesses notice activity. A survey before the cold sets in lets us fix entry points early and set up regular checks.

Large gardens and mature trees are lovely, but they bring wildlife closer to the house. This checklist is aimed at the roofs, sheds and gardens of leafy-suburb homes.
