Even a small rural settlement can have a bed bug problem. We travel out to Meering, search thoroughly and treat the bedrooms involved.
Meering is a small rural settlement in the Newark area, surrounded by farmland. Homes here may be spread out, with older buildings and extensions, and people tend to keep furniture for a long time or buy secondhand at farm and house sales. Bed bugs come in on exactly that sort of item, and a bed bug problem in a quiet house can go unnoticed for weeks.
We ask when the bites began and what has been brought into the house since, then inspect the bed and furniture. Treatment follows what we find. We explain what to do with laundry and what not to disturb. We make no call-out charge, and we are fully insured, which many rural customers ask about before a visit.
We cover Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, including small rural places like Meering. Call with your address and we will arrange a time for the visit.
Not before getting advice. Carrying items through the house can spread bed bugs. Bag washable items where they are and ask us how to proceed.
No. Bed bugs are picked up from travel, second-hand furniture and visitors, and can appear in clean homes and hotels.
