In a small rural settlement surrounded by farmland, ants often come from banks and field edges. We find the nest and treat it.
A small rural settlement in the Newark area with fields on every side offers ants almost limitless nesting ground. Foragers come from field margins, hedgerows and track edges to reach porches, utility rooms and kitchens. Rural houses often have a boot room or back porch with a stone or tile floor, where food for pets or livestock may be stored.
We follow the trail from the entry point, treat the nest or route and look at porches, boot rooms and feed storage. Free advice comes with all treatments, and prices are fixed cost. If the ants come from a neighbouring field, we focus on blocking the route and giving practical sealing advice.
We cannot always reach it, so we treat the route and entry points on your property and advise on sealing. Free advice comes with every treatment, so you leave knowing what to seal, store and tidy. Call us on 0115 937 5117 and we will talk it through before anything is booked.
It is better stored in sealed containers. Open food in porches is a common attraction for ants. Sweet spills, pet food and greasy crumbs are the usual draw, and even a small amount left overnight can keep a trail going.
Ants follow trails to food, so crumbs, spills and open food can attract them.
