Tall villas and terraces near Mansfield Road have large roofs and plenty of eaves. We remove Carrington wasp nests for a fixed £90.
Carrington's Victorian villas and terraces have big roof spaces, tall chimneys and deep eaves, all of which suit a growing wasp colony. Nests are often discovered only when a window frame or ventilation grille becomes a flight path. High roofs are the hardest to reach, and a ladder placed near a nest is where stings happen. If you can see wasps flying in and out at height, note which part of the house and call us.
We deal with the nest at a fixed £90 and respond the same day where we can. After treatment you may see a few stragglers circling the old entrance. That is normal for a short time. Garden walls and mature planting at the back of villa plots can also hold a ground nest, so keep children and pets away from any hole with wasps coming and going.
Some wasps nest in banks, lawns and borders, with a small hole and constant traffic. Do not stand over it or try to block it. Mark the spot from a distance and call us.
High nests are risky to approach, as wasps defend them if disturbed. The technician has equipment and training for working at height. Do not use ladders yourself. Never climb a ladder to look at a nest yourself, because a fall or a sting at height is a serious risk.
A wasp nest treatment is a fixed cost of £90. There is no call-out charge.
