A busy parade, villa roofs and rear yards give wasps food and shelter. In Sherwood we treat nests for a fixed £90, agreed in advance.
Sherwood combines Victorian villas and terraces with a busy local shopping parade, and the back yards behind shops are where wasps often turn up. Waste bins, drinks and sugary food draw wasps in, and a nest tucked into a flat roof, shop-front fascia or rear store can go unseen for weeks. At home, lofts and eaves are the usual spots. If wasps are hovering round a shop door or bin store, report it quickly.
We treat the nest for a fixed £90 agreed in advance. For a shop or cafe, the timing matters, so say when customers or staff are around and we will arrange the visit to suit. Keep bin lids shut and clear spilled drinks, since wasps will otherwise keep returning to the area while the colony is active. Rear yards behind parade shops are worth a look.
We offer appointments to suit, so we can plan the visit when it causes the least disruption. Tell us when customers are in and where the wasps are being seen. A short call beforehand with a suitable time of day helps us avoid busy trading periods.
It helps limit what draws wasps near, especially sweet drinks and food waste. It will not remove a nest. If wasps keep returning to one spot, a nest is likely close by. It also makes it easier to keep staff and customers comfortable while the nest is dealt with.
A wasp nest treatment is a fixed cost of £90. There is no call-out charge.
