With town housing, estates and open land in the same area, mice have more than one way in. We work out which they are using at your address.
The Broxtone area of Broxtowe borough, west of Nottingham, brings together town housing, estates and nearby open land. That mix means the cause of a mouse problem differs from street to street: one house is next to a field, another shares a roof void with a neighbour, a third has a leaking bin store. Working out which applies to you is the first step.
Our visit begins with what you have seen and where, then follows the evidence outside. Treatment is selected for your property, and you are told what has been used. There is no call-out charge. We do not suggest work that your house does not need. Because the area is so varied, we explain what is typical for your kind of street, and where your own house differs.
The setting varies: some homes border open land, some share roof voids, others are near bins. We check the clues at each property and do not assume, so the advice you get is about your house and not a general list.
We look for gaps, food sources and areas that suit nesting, then give practical advice on what to seal and store differently. It comes with every treatment and has no extra cost, and you can ask us questions as we go.
Mice can squeeze through very small gaps around pipes, vents, doors and airbricks, so even a tidy home can have them.

Cockroaches are rarely a single sighting. By the time one runs across the floor in the light, there is usually a group hiding in warm gaps nearby.
Read the advice →For a cafe, restaurant or pub, a single sighting can mean a bad review or a visit from environmental health. A planned approach keeps small problems small.
