Ilkeston is in Derbyshire, in Erewash borough, and we cover it from Nottingham. Terraces and estates here each give mice their own route.
Ilkeston lies just across the county border in Derbyshire, in Erewash borough, west of Nottingham. A former mining and lace-industry town, it has Victorian terraces with shared walls and voids, alongside later estates with their own gaps at eaves, garages and service pipes. Older commercial buildings may offer further hiding places. As temperatures fall, mice are drawn into kitchens, lofts and stockrooms alike.
We travel across the border as part of our area, with no call-out charges whichever side of it you live. Our commercial division carries out free surveys and gives a free written inspection report for shops, workshops and food premises. In homes, we trace the route first and explain what we find before suggesting any proofing. We always tell you what we find before suggesting any work.
Yes. It is just over the county border from Nottingham, and we treat it like the rest of our area, with the same pricing approach and no call-out charge. Just let us know which side of the county border the address is on so we plan the visit correctly.
Yes. Our commercial division visits shops, workshops and food premises, with a free survey and a free written inspection report. It records what we found and what needs to change. We can also arrange visits outside trading hours where that helps the business.
Mice can squeeze through very small gaps around pipes, vents, doors and airbricks, so even a tidy home can have them.
