Mansfield is a large market town on the edge of Sherwood Forest country, with a mining and brewing history. The older centre has traditional property, cellars and buildings with long histories of alteration, while the estates around it are mostly later housing. Homes on the edges of the town, where gardens meet woodland and fields, tend to see a seasonal peak when autumn arrives.

We can often arrange same day visits, depending on our diary. Until we arrive, store food in lidded containers and note where you have seen droppings, so we know where to look. Do not poke or block holes yourself before we visit, as that may move them elsewhere.
Mice can squeeze through very small gaps around pipes, vents, doors and airbricks, so even a tidy home can have them.
