A market town on the edge of Sherwood Forest country, Mansfield has older buildings and estates with woodland nearby. We treat wasp nests for a fixed £90.
Mansfield is a large market town with a mining and brewing history, set on the edge of Sherwood Forest country. Its older town-centre buildings have roof voids, chimneys and yards, and the estates around have the usual eaves and sheds. Properties near woodland edge or tree-lined streets may see more wasps, as queens find hollow trunks and dense cover. The old brewing and industrial buildings can also hide nests in quiet loft spaces.
We treat nests for a fixed £90 with no call-out charge. For commercial buildings, let us know the layout and who has the keys. For houses, tell us where wasps are flying in and out, and whether the nest appears to be at height. Never enter a loft where you can hear buzzing. Mention if the property backs onto woodland or a path.
Hollow trunks and dense hedges offer shelter. If wasps are crossing the garden towards a tree, tell us. The technician will check the area. Walk well clear and watch from a window, because disturbed wasps may follow you a short way.
A nest in a loft can hold many defensive wasps, and there is little room to retreat. Shut the hatch, keep the room below closed and call us. Even if you do not see wasps leaving, a loud hum from above the ceiling is a warning.
A wasp nest treatment is a fixed cost of £90. There is no call-out charge.
