On the edge of Sherwood Forest country, Mansfield has plenty of trees and old roofs. If squirrels are in your loft, we find the gap and advise on proofing.
Mansfield is a large market town on the edge of Sherwood Forest country, with a mining and brewing history, older town-centre property and many estates. Woodland and mature trees nearby mean a healthy squirrel population, and the older buildings have plenty of ageing timber for them to work on. Brick-built estate houses with simple pitched roofs are usually entered via the eaves or vents. A larger commercial building might have roof voids that nobody has checked in years.
We survey the roof and loft to see how squirrels are getting in and how active they are. Treatment is carried out lawfully, and we follow with advice on proofing. Our commercial division carries out free surveys with a free written inspection report. Visits can be arranged to suit you, with fixed pricing and no call-out charge.
Wooded areas can support plenty of them, and some wander into nearby streets. Whether they enter your roof depends on gaps and access, which is what proofing addresses.
Our commercial division offers free surveys and a free written inspection report. It is the clearest way to see how a big roof void is being used and what needs attention.
Yes. They can chew timber, insulation and cables, and cable damage can be a fire risk.
