Just over the county border in Derbyshire, Ilkeston's old mining and lace buildings now hold shops, pubs and workshops that need regular pest checks.
Ilkeston lies in Derbyshire, within Erewash borough, but our commercial division works there as well as across Nottinghamshire. The town's former mining and lace-industry past left it with plenty of solid Victorian property, some of it now divided into shops, bars and small workshops. Old brickwork, shared cellars and yard walls give mice and rats routes between buildings, and later estates around the centre add more gardens to the picture.
We carry out a free survey and a free written inspection report for Ilkeston businesses, in the same way as in Nottingham itself. The report records conditions by area and suggests how often visits should happen. Fixed cost pricing helps you plan, and appointments can be arranged around opening hours or deliveries. If you have more than one property in the town, tell us and we will plan them in one trip where possible.
Ilkeston is just across the county border, west of Nottingham, and we work there as part of our wider area. Call with the address and we will confirm an appointment time. We can usually fit a visit in within the week.
Gaps where pipes and cables pass through walls, cellars with open floors and shared yards are the usual weak points. We check these during the survey and note them in the written report. Doors and cellar hatches matter too.
Yes. Ongoing contracts help spread the costs of commercial pest control.
