A busy local shopping parade means a row of food outlets sharing walls, rear yards and bins. Pests do not stop at the shopfront boundary.
On a parade, the shops share more than a pavement. Rear service yards, alleys and bin areas often run along the whole block, and pests move behind the units without anyone seeing. A butcher, takeaway or greengrocer with good housekeeping can still see rats in the yard if a neighbour's waste is poorly stored. Sherwood's parade of shops sits among Victorian villas and terraces, which adds nearby gardens and drains to the route map.
We offer a free survey of your unit and its rear access, plus a free written inspection report so you have a clear record. If the evidence points along the parade, we say so, and shop owners can compare notes. Appointments can be set up outside peak trading, and pricing is fixed rather than open-ended. Early morning set-up and late clearing-away are when we see most.
It often helps, because pests move along shared yards and walls. You do not have to, though. We can survey your own unit and report on what points beyond it, leaving you to decide how to approach neighbours.
It records what we found, where, and which entry points or practices are contributing. It also sets out recommended actions and a suggested visit pattern. It is useful for your own records and for any inspection.
