Radford's dense terraces and former lace and textile buildings now house small businesses of every sort. Older premises like these need pest checks that suit them.
Radford grew around the lace and textile trade, and some of that older building stock now holds workshops, storerooms and small food businesses. Solid old walls, floor voids and unused upper rooms give mice and rats quiet places to settle, and the dense terraced streets around them mean activity travels easily from house to unit. Dry goods, packaging and waste left near doors only make a shop or takeaway more attractive.
If you run a unit here, we begin by walking the premises and looking at storage, bin areas, drains and entry points. You get a free written inspection report afterwards, with the findings set out plainly. We then agree ongoing visits at a fixed cost.. We also look at upper floors and storage that has not been touched for years.
Workshops, stores and offices have different risks from kitchens, so the survey looks at what is stored, how waste is handled and where pests could enter. The written report then explains what we found and what we suggest.
Keep access clear to storerooms, bin areas and any cellar or loft space. It also helps to note where staff have seen droppings, gnawing or insects, because those sightings show us where to start looking.
Yes. Ongoing contracts help spread the costs of commercial pest control.
