Living in a village does not keep bed bugs away. They arrive in bags and furniture, not from the fields. We help Watnall households sort it out.
Watnall is a village with open countryside around it, and people sometimes assume bed bugs are a town problem. They are not linked to the surroundings at all. They come indoors on things that have been in an infested room, such as luggage, a bag, a visitor's coat or a secondhand bed. A village home gets them the same way as anywhere else.
We ask how long the bites have gone on and what has entered the house recently, then inspect the bed and furniture. We treat the areas affected and explain the washing and preparation. We offer appointments to suit, including same day visits, and we are BPCA members, so you can expect careful work and clear explanations throughout.
Possibly, as fleas and midges bite too. Bed bug bites often appear in lines or clusters, on skin exposed in bed, with marks on bedding. An inspection confirms the cause.

Ants walking in a neat line are following a scent trail. Follow it back to find the entry point, and sometimes the nest itself, before the colony settles in.
