Older cottages and houses around the minster can hold bed bugs in surprising places. We inspect Southwell homes and treat them with care.
Southwell is a small minster town known for Southwell Minster and the Bramley apple, with older property and farmland nearby. Older homes tend to have more beams, boards and corners, so bed bug searches take longer. Visitors to the town, including those who come for the minster, may stay with local friends or in guest rooms, which is one way bed bugs can be carried in.
We approach every house gently and thoroughly, checking the bed, nearby furniture and the room edges. Treatment follows what we find, and we explain how to launder and prepare. Our staff are CRB checked and we are fully insured, so you can trust us to work inside an older property carefully.

No. Bed bugs are picked up from travel, second-hand furniture and visitors, and can appear in clean homes and hotels.
