With farmland on all sides of East Stoke, barns and houses alike can host squirrels. We survey, treat and advise on proofing the roof.
East Stoke is a small village close to Newark near the A46, surrounded by farmland. In farmland settings, squirrels use field boundaries, trees and farm buildings as a network, and a house at the end of a lane may be the next stop. Barns, stables and converted outbuildings have large roof spaces with plenty of timber, which suits squirrels. A noise heard on the main house may start in a barn nearby, so look at both.
We survey the house and outbuildings, find where the squirrels are entering and carry out treatment lawfully. Advice on proofing is free with the treatment, and we are fully insured to work on your property. Appointments to suit you are available, including same day visits, with fixed pricing and no call-out charge.
If they find a good nesting site in an outbuilding, they can also try the main roof. Surveying both at once gives a clearer picture and a better chance of lasting proofing.
Not in principle. We cover villages around Newark, and the survey process is the same. Call with your address and any access details and we will arrange a time.
Yes. They can chew timber, insulation and cables, and cable damage can be a fire risk.

In a village surrounded by farmland, a wasp nest might sit in a hedge bank, an outbuilding or the soffit. Whether it needs treatment depends on where it is.
