A historic market town with older buildings and later housing, Newark has many places where stored fabric can sit untouched, which is what larvae need.
Newark-on-Trent has a historic centre around its market square and castle, with older buildings and later housing beyond. Older buildings with high ceilings, deep cupboards and rooms above shops mean fabrics can stay undisturbed for years. Moth larvae need little more. In newer homes, the story tends to begin with a carpet or a box of clothes.
We identify the moth, inspect likely places and treat the affected areas. Businesses can have a free survey and a free written inspection report from our commercial division. We give clear advice on washing, freezing and storage, and appointments are arranged to suit you. How long it takes depends on how widespread the problem is.
